LAHORE - Progressive & Lahore Businessmen Front Alliance (PLBFA) has vowed that after winning the upcoming LCCI elections 2015-16, it would waive off all charges being received by the Chamber for different services to its members.

There will be only annual membership fee and nothing else, even the fee for issuing visa support letters will be zero if the PLBFA is voted into power, said PLBFA leaders announced this, while disclosing their election manifesto at a ceremony here Saturday.

All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran Secretary General Naeem Mir, PLBFA Chairman Chaudhy Muhammad Amjad, President Khalid Usman, Deputy Secretary Muhammad Ejaz Tanveer, Javed Ali, Sardar Usman Ghani and others addressed the ceremony that was attracted a large number of traders and businessmen from almost all markets and parts of the provincial metropolis.

The PLBFA leadership said that they would direct all the business enquiries to the members through advertisement, adding that every business enquiry would be addressed to the market or sector concerned so that they could properly take advantage of it.

They said, a one-window facilitation center would be set up in the Lahore Chamber to help out businessmen expanding their work and Special Help Desks would also be set up for income tax, sales and withholding tax issues.

They announced that different works of the Chamber would be given through transparent tenders, launching special courses of English and Chinese languages, getting opinion of all segments of the businesses before drafting budget proposals and halting indiscriminate spending of LCCI budget.

They also announced that the PLBFA would set up a Special Cell for research and disseminating information to the members about China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
