ISLAMABAD - Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, appreciated the efforts of youngster M Karim, who secured 70th position in Giant Slalom competitions during the Winter Olympics Games 2014 in Sochi. Tahir Rafique, who is also Ski Federation of Pakistan (SFP) patron-in-chief, said that it was the matter of pride and joy for the entire nation as Karim was hoisting the Pakistani flag high by giving more than satisfactory performances. This was the second consecutive Winter Olympics that the SFP has sent Pakistani skier. The planning and preparation to participate in Winter Olympics Sochi-2014 were initiated and conceived by the then SFP president Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt.–Staff Reporter
