Ameer JUI (F), Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has ruled out ‘any delay’ in Presidential elections as being unconstitutional.

Talking exclusively to ONLINE, he vouched that “Let the elections be held as early as on 29th July, instead of 6th August; nothing unconstitutional about that”.

“There would be a consensus with PML-N over issue, and the President would be from smaller Province” he further deliberated.

He said that should the government evolve a roadmap for its 5-year tenure, he saw no reason why it shouldn’t be able to tackle challenges, crisis with flying colors.

“There are numerous issues un-related to government or opposition, and are rather National issues, which need implementation of a well-laid comprehensive detailed policy, entailing National consensus”, he stressed.

Replying to a question regarding Malala, he expressed that “our culture holds it as a non-chivalrous act to raise hands (beat, hurt etc) any female , while her persona is being used for settling ‘ideological conflicts’ , bragging about victories”.

“No doubt MQM has a strong mandate in Karachi, yet Altaf Hussain, should be meted absolute justice through impartial and neutral investigation(s)” he expressed.

He also stressed on Governor KPK to stage demonstrations at Peshawar’s G.T. Road over load shedding issue, since even Punjab government protested over the issue; “however one should avoid volatile , destructive protests “, he stressed.

He also ruled out any impatience of JUI to join government, as the party would join government in second phase of Cabinet expansion.
