Senior Vice Chairman and Deputy Parliamentary leader in National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the government has backed out of all promises it made with the public during election campaign and his party will issue a white paper on government’s failures, mismanagement and malpractices after Eid.

Addressing the participants of a welcome function organised by the PTI workers in his honour here on Saturday, he added that the current government won the votes with the agenda to eliminate power crisis but it further aggravated the situation. He pointed out that recent increase in petroleum, electricity and gas prices brought about a horrible storm of price hike in the country, forcing poor citizens to commit suicides. He warned that no power could prevent masses from taking to the roads, if the rulers failed to resolve basic problems being faced by the masses.

He declared that the PTI would not leave the masses alone and raise public’s voice on different issues being faced by them like price hike, loadshedding and lawlessness.

Referring to drone attacks, he said that the ambiguous stand of government on this issue multiplied problems. He suggested to the government to make clear and forthright decision to stop drone attacks otherwise the situation would go out of their control.
