A seven-year-old girl is making boys at her school jealous by driving around in a replica £25million Ferrari.

Scarlett Gurr’s father Stuart, a car restorer, built her this half-size version of a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO – complete with 49cc engine, which gives it a top speed of 15mph.

A member of the British Women Racing Drivers Club, Scarlett hopes to take part in the Little Big Man race atLe Mansnext year.

Her father, of West Moseley,Surrey, will make her a mini Mercedes Uhlenhaut Gullwing coupe 300SLR for the race.

In the past he has made Scarlet a miniature replica of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and a series of Type 35 Bugattis.
