LAHORE (PR): Al Mustafa Welfare Society has started distribution of rice as aid among the flood victims in Punjab. Some 33 tons of rice would be distributed in association with Al Mustafa Welfare Trust Uk.

Chairman AMWT Abdul Razaq Sajid said that they would distribute rice packets, weighing 10 kg for each, among 3300 vulnerable and needy families in flood affected areas. Our volunteer teams under the supervision of Attaul Mustafa Noori, are visiting Chiniot, Bhawana, Jhang, Atharahazari and small villages. We have also rescued women, children and elderly people and shifted them in relief camps with the support of army, Sajid added.

It is worth mentioning that Taiwan has gifted 500 ton rice as aid to Al Mustafa for distribution among the needy and destitute people. Al Mustafa Welfare Society has a countrywide network.

During recent flood Al Mustafa has set up relief camps and distributed rice, biscuits, milk packets and cloths in different parts of the country including 15 districts of the Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan provinces and Muzaffarabad.
