ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif chaired a high level meeting at PM House today that held a detailed review of the security situation in the wake of the terrorist attack at PAF Badaber camp in Peshawar.

The meeting also reviewed the overall security situation in the country, sharing of evidences with Afghanistan, border management strategy with Afghanistan and implementation of National Action Plan (NAP).

The meeting was informed that the authorities have irrefutable evidence that terrorists of Badaber had come from Afghanistan and that proof of this would be shared with the Afghanistan government.

The meeting expressed its satisfaction on the way the terrorists were neutralized and killed and it was decided to further improve the security at all important installations and to beef up intelligence at the borders with Afghanistan.

A comprehensive review was made of the implementation of National Action Plan and it was decided that it will be implemented with utmost speed.

Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Finance Mr. Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Interior Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, DG ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa, DG Military Operations Major General Aamer Riaz, DG Military Intelligence  Major General Nadeem Zaki Manj and senior officers attended the meeting.
