FAISALABAD - The Liver Foundation Trust arranged a free screening camp at Liver Centre here in which 300 patients were screened free of charge for hepatitis B and C.

Out of these screened patients, 126 were diagnosed with Hepatitis C virus while 12 patients were found infected with hepatitis B virus while remaining 162 persons were found negative.

Addressing on the occasion, Liver Foundation Chairman and Punjab Medical College Principal Dr Zahid Yasin Hashmi said that the Liver Foundation Trust was regularly organising such camps and holding public forums for creating awareness about liver diseases.
