LAHORE - Punjab Governor Rafiq Rajwana has resented the substandard construction of the government funded children complex and kidney centre Multan.

The governor presided over a meeting with regard to health programme of the Punjab government in the province particularly in relation to his native District Multan at Governor’s House yesterday.

Rafiq Rajwana at the meeting learnt about flaws in the construction of Children Complex and Kidney Centre Multan and warned the contractors and the officials concerned of strict action if the quality development of the building was not maintained.

The governor said these projects aim at welfare of the people and no negligence will be afforded in this behalf. The Governor also committed to provide funds where they would be needed but the building of the projects must be up to the mark.

Rafiq Rajwana said the sanctioning of the SNEs would be ensured while problems of the doctors and the paramedics solved on priority. He said the government would also ensure construction of new hospitals.

The Kidney Centre Multan will have 40 dialysis machines while Childrem Complex would be developed on the most moderns lines in Multan. The meeting also attended by CM adviser on Healthy Khwaja Salman Rafiq also looked into development wor4ks of the Nishtar Hospital and Burns Unit Multan.
