KARACHI - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has told the Sindh High Court that the new constitution of the board, approved by the country's President, has made it more democratic as per the directives of the ICC.

Pakistan's former captain, Rashid Latif has filed a petition in the court, which challenged several clauses of the old constitution while terming the appointment of the chairman and director general cricket as undemocratic. At the hearing held today the legal advisor of the board, Tafazzul Rizvi's reply to the board was read out and it stated that 70 percent of the objections raised by Latif had been cleared in the new constitution.

"The PCB has also said that it is willing to sit down and discuss the new constitution with us,” Said Latif.
