OUR STAFF REPORTER KARACHI - The trade and industrial community have hailed the appointment of Wajid Durrani as Inspector General Sindh and hoped that the new incumbent would strive hard to maintain law and order in the industrial and commercial hub of Pakistan. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Patron-in-Chief Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), SM Muneer, said Wajid Durrani is a seasonal officer and has good reputation in service and government has made a right choice for Sindh. He said that law and order situation in Karachi has extremely deteriorated and the business community in particular is suffering due to loss of business and threatening of life has forced many of them to leave the country. He hoped that Wajid Durrani would not only restore law and order in Karachi but would improve image of law enforcing agencies among the general masses.
