Our Staff Reporter MULTAN - Senior PML-N leader Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that Pakistans $18 billion are kept in foreign banks, asking the rulers to bring national money back. Addressing a public gathering here on Tuesday, Hashmi said that the rulers had transacted their wealth abroad. It is high time that they bring their wealth back to Pakistan and make investment here to control increasing poverty and unemployment, he added. He warned that the coming time would bring failure and hopelessness with it for the rulers if they failed to take immediate steps for the welfare of masses. He lashed out at the government and said that the masses were committing suicides due to poverty and hunger but the rulers did nothing for the welfare of poor citizens. He said that the government failed to deliver as a result of which the miseries of people multiplied. He said that the prices of daily use items, edibles, gas and electricity registered horrible increase during the last three years.
