Our Staff Reporter LAYYAH - Unscheduled and long hour loadshedding has been playing havoc with the lives of poor people who have already been grappling with multiple crises. The worst power outages have cripple the business and social activities and people are finding it hard to carry out the activities of the routine life. Moreover, the absence of power in this sizzling heat when the mercury has touched 50 degree Celsius adding to the miseries of people and making their lives hell. On the other hand, poor students are forced to studying under the streetlight wherever it is available. The people are astonished as who would solve their problems as their repeated appeals and protest have been proved a futile practice and the situation has gone worst from the bad. The gravity of the situation can be gauged from the fact that political circles have become silent spectators to this brutality and are indifferent to the woes of the masses. The residents of the area have urged President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to take notice of their plight and order rationalisation of the loadshedding schedule.
