LAHORE - Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday denied allegations that he had ever hurled life threats to PPP legislator Azma Zahid Bokhari. Responding to Opposition leader Raja Riazs point of order on the issue, Sanaullah asked him (Raja) to form a committee of his choice to probe the matter if he was not satisfied with his assertion. He assured the House that he had not given life threats to the lady legislator and whatever had been attributed to him was a mere concoction. Raja had also drawn chairs attention towards the law ministers alleged life threats to her colleague on Monday, but was then told by Deputy Speaker Rana Mashhood that since law minister was not present in the House, it would be better to take up the matter in his presence. After law ministers statement, Azma stood on a point of order and told the chair that a group of journalists told her about Ranas threat, who also indulged in her character assassination. She said Sana was facing 'language problem which was very old. I will toe the partys line of reconciliation with all the political parties, she added.
