Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday assured the National Assembly that a way forward would be found to resolve the issues involving devolution of Ministry of Minority Affairs. Responding to points of order raised by non-Muslim members in the House he said he considers women and minorities as his constituencies and their rights would be looked after. The Prime Minster said he had invited all non-Muslim members and assured them that some solution would be found. He however said the process of devolution has been initiated as per 18th constitutional amendment and we will have to work within the framework of the constitution. Referring to the protest lodged by Minister of State for Interfaith Harmony and Minorities Akram Maseh Gill, the Prime Minister said he is member of the cabinet and should behave like a Minister. Otherwise, the Prime Minister said, he will have to sack him.
