LAHORE - A delegation of top positions-holders of Pakistan, led by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman visited the Queen Mary College, University of London, United Kingdom where the students were briefed about the history of the college, campus life, research facilities and education system in the Great Britain, says a press release.

As many as 40 position-holders of Pakistan are on one-month tour to European universities under the patronage of the Punjab government. The tour of position-holders began on Thursday with a one-day visit to the laboratories and research centers of Queen Mary College, UK. The position holders also interacted with the college’s senior faculty members and discussed with them about the latest researches in various fields of life. Talking to Prof Khaleeq, the Queen Mary College officials showed interest in establishing research and academic linkages with the universities of Punjab especially GCU. The Pakistani students would visit universities of UK, Germany and Turkey during the next one month.
