Meanwhile, furnace oil supply to oil refineries is shrunk by 22,000 metric tones. Currently, 2,640MW power is being produced by Hydel power plant, 2070megawatts from Thermal plant while 4000MW being generated by IPPs. Around 620MW electricity is being supplied to KESC to meet Karachis demand.
