LAHORE - Lahore and some parts of the province continued to experience hot and dry weather causing alarm among the people due to unusual phenomena in the month of March. The sky was cloudy on Sunday as a westerly wave persisting over Afghanistan was slightly moving eastwards covering upper regions of Pakistan. As a result isolated thunderstorm, rain is expected over NWFP, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan while the rest of the country will remain dry. Meanwhile Lahore recorded 27 degree centigrade and minimum 19 degree on Sunday. Chhor experienced the hottest temperature 43C degree, Rahim Yar Khan 42.3C while the lowest 1.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Kalam. The Met office has also predicted cloudy weather in Lahore and parts of Punjab.
