QUETTA - An oil tanker carrying fuel for US-led coalition forces in Afghanistan was destroyed in a bomb blast in Chaman on Sunday. Official sources said that the incident occurred near Frontier Corps (FC) fort when an explosive device planted in oil tanker exploded with huge explosion. Resultantly, the vehicle badly damaged and thousands of litres fuel spilled over and destroyed. Soon after the incident police and personnel of FC reached the site and cordoned off the area. Meanwhile, two blasts were reported from Kalat town of Balochistan on southeast of the provincial capital. However, no loss of life was reported in the blasts. Sources said first blast took place outside the office of District Police Officer (DPO) Kalat when an explosive device planted near the office went off with a big bang smashing the windowpanes of the building. The second blast occurred close to Saddar Police Station Kalat. However, no loss of life was reported in both blasts. The blasts spread panic and fear among area residents.
