MULTAN - The inauguration ceremony of Workers Complex Multan reflected the signs of widening gulf between the coalition partners in Punjab - PML-N and PPP. Besides the fact that no representative of the ruling PML-N was there to receive the Prime Minister, the speech of Punjab Minister for Labour Ashraf Sohna fanned the speculations that both the parties were heading towards another showdown. Speaking on this occasion, Ashraf Sohna said his presence in the Punjab government was a source of shame for himself. I feel ashamed that I am part of Punjab govt as the draconian laws of Musharraf regime are still upheld and enforced by the provincial govt, he added. He urged upon the federal government to play its role for the removal of labour laws of Musharraf era.
