The Supreme Court on Tuesday released the detailed judgment on Chairman NAB Deedar Hussain Shah case. In its 33 page long ruling, the court said that appointing National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman was not the prerogative of the president and a purposeful consultation with the opposition leader and the chief justice of Pakistan was mandatory for the appointment. According to the verdict, Deedar Hussain Shah has also been disqualified for the office of the NAB chairman because the Law Ministry had issued the notification of his reappointment.
