LAHORE Principal Jamia Naeemia Allama Raghib Naeemi has said that foreign powers wanted to occupy our atomic assets by destabilising the country. He alleged that the government was adopting biased attitude into the investigation of former federal minister of religious affaires Hamid Saeed Kazmi. While taking to a Press conference at Jamia Naeemia on Monday, he alleged Kazmi was being victimised on account of his sect as some forces wanted to occupy religious ministry. To a quarry, he said they could not issue decree on Raymond issue until the victim families express the deal. He said the government should take masses into confidence on Raymond issue. Raghib said the annual celebrations of Jamia Naeemia would start from today (Tuesday) with Qirat competition. Naat competition would be held tomorrow (Wednesday), he added. On March 26, a seminar titled 'Sovereignty of Pakistan and our responsibilities would be presided over by Allama Mufti Muneeb and Mian Nawaz Sharif would be chief guest, he added. On the occasion, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Syed Zia Noor, Ataul Haq Qasmi and others would be among the speakers.
