A delegation comprising dignitaries and members of Kamalia Doctors Association called on former Punjab Advocate General Mustafa Ramday to plead for the recovery of missing Cardiologist Dr Zia Ahmed Khan.

The delegation of doctors, lawyers, former City Nazim, Councilors and dignitaries of city led by Kamalia Doctors Association President Dr Zafar Iqbal Jakhar, former President Dr Syed Mazhar Abbas Shah and Family Physicians Association President Dr Abdul Rauf Butt met with former Punjab Advocate General Punjab Mustafa Ramday here the other day.

The delegation apprised him that Dr Khan was on the way to Kamalia from Lahore in his car some days back when he went missing. Later, his car was found parked on canal bank near Pattoki. One of Dr Khan’s two callphones was found in the vehicle, they said.

The former Punjab Advocate General said that kidnapping of Dr Zia is a matter of grave concern and tragedy for people of Kamalia. He said that he would meet the Punjab chief minister, Punjab Police IG and raised the issue of Dr Zia recovery.
