Islamabad - Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad police has arrested six persons including three women allegedly involved in looting houses and also recovered gold ornaments and looted items worth millions of rupees, mobile phones and weapons from their possession.

According to details, SSP Sajid Kiani took strong exception of dacoity incidents committee by maids and assigned task to SP (Investigation) Muhammad Ilyas to trace the perpetrators of such incidents. The SP (Investigation) constituted special team which succeeded to nab house maids involved in looting house after getting jobs there along with three other criminals involved in various burglary and dacoity incidents. The gangsters involved in looting houses in guise of maids have been identified as Rukhsana alias Sano, daughter of Dost Muhammad, Afsana alias Farzana, daughter of Muhammad Ashraf, and Uzma alias Gurya, daughter of Dost Muhammad. One of their accomplices Zafar was also arrested and they confessed to have looted several houses in areas of Golra, Shalimar, Margallah and Industrial Area police stations.

Meanwhile, SIU police also nabbed Jehanzeb and Sher Wali for their alleged involvement in burglary incidents. They revealed to have struck in various areas of sector I-8.  Police recovered gold ornaments, mobile phones and other looted items worth hundreds of thousands of rupees from these nabbed persons.

SSP Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials for effective policing in their respective areas.
