PESHAWAR - The members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Monday expressed heart felt condolences with the family of PML-N MPA Arbab Akbar Hayat.

Soon after recitation of the Holy Quran, Leader of the Opposition Maulana Lutfur Rehman took the floor and asked the members of the house for offering fateha for the departed soul of late MPA. He prayed that Allah Almighty grants courage and patience to his family members to bear the loss with fortitude. He also offered fateha for photo journalist Sikandar Shah who passed away on Monday and all those who were killed in the government employees’ bus explosion. He requested the speaker for giving them opportunity to speak on terrorism and law and order situation in the province on next working day.

Parliamentary leader of PML-, Sardar Aurangzeb Nalotha paid tributes to his late colleague and said that they had lost a brave and social personality who was giving respect to each and every person.

He said that late Akbar Hayat was a good parliamentarian. He thanked the Speaker and members of the house for arranging Quran Khwani for the departed soul of late Arbab Akbar Hayat. Inayatullah Khan, Senior Minister and Parliamentary Leader of Jamaat Islami (JI) in KP Assembly while paying tributes to the role of late Arbab Akbar Hayat as member of the house said that he is fourth member of the sitting assembly died during last three years.

Sardar Hussain Babak of ANP said that it is a strange situation that on one hand they were condoling the death of one colleague and welcoming a new one. He paid tributes to the contribution of late Arbab Akbar Hayat as member of the house.

Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering (PHE) Shah Farman welcomed the new member of the house and said that he is taking oath after long time since his election. He also paid tributes to late Arbab Akbar Hayat.

Saleem Khan of PPP said that late MPA was in good relations with all members of the house and used to play full role in the proceedings of the house. He said that they will always be remembered him.

Bakht Baidar of QWP said that late Arbab Akbar Hayat was fully representing his constituency and never hurt anyone. Other who paid tributes to late PML-N MPA were Provincial Minister Qalandar Lodhi, Deputy Speaker Dr Meher Taj Roghani and Zarin Zia.

Sardar Suran Singh, a minority legislator on behalf of his own as well as minorities expressed condolence with the family of late Arbab Akbar Hayat and prayed for his departed soul.
