ISLAMABAD  - Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) of Ministry of National Integration and Heritage has decided to show Pakistani movies to provide entertainment opportunities to the residents of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

According to sources, under the project, the PNCA would get movie of famous movie makers and show them in the council. The officials of the council have spoken to Syed Noor, Javed Sheikh and Usman Pirzada, who have assured to provide their movies without any cost.

Director General PNCA, Touqeer Nasir said the council was playing its due role in making recognition of the country throughout the world. He further said that through the revival of cinema, the persons linked with the industry would get respectable source of earning and the filmmakers including Syed Noor and Javed Sheikh had agreed to provide their movies without any cost.

The DG said that they also wanted to give an entertainment opportunity to the residents of the twin cities.

The council was already organising many programs including of those of foreign embassies and a drama festival would be organised in December, he added
