Emily inspired by Ben Affleck

Westminster: Emily Ratajkowski has revealed she is inspired to do better by her 'Gone Girl' co-star Ben Affleck. The 24-year-old beauty starred alongside the 43-year-old actor in 'Gone Girl' and has revealed she was only happy to take acting inspiration from her co-star.

She shared: ''It was monkey see, monkey do. You see how this person is doing it and you rise the occasion.'' The 'We Are Your Friends' star also revealed the film's director David Fincher was on hand to give her some tips on how to perfect her character portrayal.

Of her time filming 'Gone Girl', she added to Editorialist magazine: ''David basically told me to not think. ''It's counter-intuitive because you do all this research and think about how you want this character to come off and then you get on set and basically need to let that all go.''

Meanwhile, Emily previously revealed she backed fellow model Cara Delevingne's decision to move from fashion to film. She said: ''I think every experience is different. Definitely, I feel like acting is much more creatively fulfilling and I think Cara is very creative person, as am I, and so, we want more.'' In fact, Emily thinks the two industries do have their similarities. –CN

She added: ''Some of the best parts about modeling are having the same kind of relationships that I have with Max [Joseph], my director, as I would have with a photographer.''

Ben Affleck ‘flirting’ with Garner

Los Angeles: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were ''laughing'' and ''having fun'' during a day out together with their dog and three kids, following their divorce announcement in June.

The estranged couple were spotted taking a stroll with their dog and three kids Violet, nine, Sera, six, and Sam, three, and looked happy together this week, despite rumours their split was caused by an affair Ben had with their kids' nanny, Christine Ouzounian.

A source revealed to PEOPLE magazine: ''They were laughing and talking to each other and looked like they were having fun.''

Their latest meet-up comes just days after the hunk - who was spotted with his family in Atlanta, where his former partner is filming new movie 'Miracles from Heaven' - celebrated his 43rd birthday with Jennifer, also 43, with their kids at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. During the trip, the pair's relationship appeared strained, although a pal said they are trying to co-operate for the sake of their children, which is why he is continuing to wear his wedding ring. The source said: They are both making the best of a hard situation. ''They did the trip together and the kids had a great time, which is what they both wanted.''–CMU

––The pair announced their intention to divorce back in June following a decade of marriage. In a statement issued by their publicists, they said: ''After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. ''We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.''

Richard Madden isn't too attractive

Eldersite: Richard Madden is grateful he isn't ''too good looking'' as he has seen more attractive friends lose out on work.

The 'Game of Thrones' actor doesn't think he is particularly attractive, but thinks that lands him more work as he has seen a number of his ''really handsome'' friends get turned down for roles because of their appearance. He said: ''I don't think I'm handsome. I have friends who are really handsome and they don't get certain parts because they are too good looking. I've never had that problem.

''I look different in every role, which I suppose is quite handy.'' But the 28-year-old star takes care of his appearance, especially when he knows he'll have a shirtless scene. He said: ''My job is like being an athlete, as lots of roles require you to take your top off. ''It's not just actresses who get scrutinised for their looks.

''I'm no good at balance - I'll either be eating healthily and exercising or stuffing too many pizzas and beers down.'' Despite his success, the 'Cinderella' actor is always convinced he'll never find work again once filming wraps on a project. He told Woman magazine: ''I still can't believe acting is a job. I started as a kid and I've been lucky to keep working. ''But every time I finish a part, I think it'll be my last.–CMZ

I don't feel like I'm conquering Hollywood, I think I got lucky on a few things. ''You panic and start thinking, 'Oh God, I have no other skills and I'm nearly 30.' ''
