LAHORE - Cloudy weather with chances of rains is expected in the city during next few couple of days.

In upper parts of country, there is a forecast of rain-thundershowers at scattered places, according to meteorological department. Heavy rainfall may trigger flash floods in rivers and streams in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral today. According to experts, seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and adjoining area with its trough extending eastwards. Monsoon currents are penetrating into upper parts of the country.

A westerly wave is also present over upper parts of the country and likely to persist till Monday. On Saturday, maximum and minimum temperature in Lahore was recorded 34 degree Celsius and 22C respectively. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded 64 percent.

Rain-thundershowers occurred at scattered places in Lahore divisions, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Sargodha divisions.

Kasur received 14mm rain, Lahore 12mm, Kalam and Astore 05mm each, Pattan 04mm and Bunji 03mm.
