ISLAMABAD  – Islamabad Police have arrested 19 outlaws including seven gamblers and four dacoits besides recovering 73 wine bottles, hashish, weapons and stake money from their possession, a police spokesman said on Saturday.

According to details, Station House Officer of Bhara Kau police station Inspector Mubarik Ali along with police team inclduing ASI Muhammad Ghaus and others arrested four dacoits who snatched cash, mobile phone and other documents from Muhammad Qayum at gunpoint from Madina town. These nabbed persons have been identified as Ejaz Ahmed, Naseer Ahmed, Waqas Ahmed and Ali Zeb and pistols, dagger were also recovered from them.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Tahir Nadeem from Kohsar police station arrested Babar Masih and Sameul Masih for having 40 wine bottles. Sub-Inspector Abdul Ghafoor arrested another bootlegger Sheeraz Ahmed having seven liquor bottles.

ASI Mirza Nisar from Secretariat police arrested Shakeel Ahmed for having 30 bore pistol while Sub-Inspector Mansoor Ahmed from Bhara Kau police apprehended Umar Nadeem for possessing one wine bottle.

Sub-Inspector Abdul Sattar from Margallah police arrested Gul Taj for having 250 gram hashish while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Aslam from Golra police apprehended a drug pusher Arif for possessing 310 gram hashish.

ASI Haider Ali Shah from Crime Investigation Agency of Islamabad police arrested Naveed Ahmed and recovered 25 wine bottles from him.

Meanwhile, police team of Kohsar police station headed by SHO Sajjad Bukhari including Sub-Inspector Malik Arshad and others raided at the gambling den in sector F-6/2 and arrested seven gamblers red handed besides recovering stake money from them.

The nabbed persons were identified as Shehzad Masih, Rafiq Masih, Waris Masih, Farooq Gul, Akram Masih, Kanwal Masih, Ch. Kashif. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
