KARAK – Pakistan People’s Party, Khyber Pakhtunkhw, President, Anwar Saifullah Khan has said that in the upcoming general election if his party came into power then practical steps would be taken for the development of the province and for the provision of water for drinking and irrigation purposes, dams would be constructed on large scale.

He was addressing to a public gathering here at Takht-e-Nusrati and the woman PMA of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Mehar Sultana Khattak and his brother Jehanzeb Khattak formally announced their joining of PPP. The provincial chief of PPP further said that PPP government would establish 500 mega watts power producers for gas in district Kohat and Karak to end the load shedding in the province.

He resolved that his government would establish industries to end the unemployment in the province. He conceded that oil and gas has been produced on the soil of district Karak and the residence of the district has foremost right over it. The PPP chief announced that oil and gas royalty of district Karak would be enhanced from 10 per cent to 35 per cent if PPP came into power in the next general election. He said that PPP believe on the selfless services of the masses and asked the workers to convey the message of Benazir Bhutto to the nook and corner of the district.

He recalled that he was thrown behind the bars just to providing jobs to 30 thousands unemployed youths and resolved to commit the same crime again if his party came into power. While address to the public meeting the provincial chief of PPP of women wing Asma Alamgir said that PPP was the party of martyrs and today joining of Mehar Sultana and her brother Jehanzeb Khattak was an honour for PPP. She said that PPP was the only political party, which on the basis of the public services was completing its parliamentary tenure.

Former central secretary general of PML (N) women wing and new entrant to PPP Shazia Aurang Zeb said that they were loyal and PML leadership was disloyal and very soon they would be exiled again to Saudi Arabia. She claimed that PPP would form the government in the province in the upcoming general election.

She held provincial secretary general of PML (N) Rehmat Salam Khattak responsible of all evils and added due to him the party has been divided into many parts in the province. On the occasion the PMA Mehar Sulatana Khattak and her brother Jehazeb Khattak announced their resignations from the basic memberships of MPL (N) and formally announced to join the PPP.

Sulatana further said to the meeting that PML has obliged her for selecting as a lawmaker but the widening differences in the party ranks on provincial level forced them to leave the party. She added that she was ready for accountability
