NEW YORK: Hollywood hit comedy “Anchorman 2” is back. Just two months after its release, it’s been stripped of jokes and given 753 new ones and is coming to a cinema near you. In a possible first in cinema history, the comedy starring Will Ferrell as screwball newsman Ron Burgundy is getting a brand-new facelift and goes on general release for one week only. “They’re doing something that they have never done before,” comedy star Ferrell told Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show”. “For one week only, February 28, we have a brand new version with 753 jokes, brand new jokes,” he added.–AFP
