RAWALPINDI - Lieutenant General Nasir Khan Janjua, Commander Southern Command, on Thursday visited Afghanistan and met his counterpart, ISPR said.

It said that matters related to border security coordination and ways and means to further enhance the existing mechanism were discussed.

It may be mentioned here that on 18th January, Lieutenant General Hidayt ur Rehman, Corps Commander Peshawar, had also visited Afghanistan and met his counterpart.

These visits are aimed at enhancing the ongoing Pak-Afghan cooperation and will help boost confidence between armies of the two countries.
