LAHORE - Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday handed over 20 Pakistani prisoners to Pakistan’s Punjab Rangers as a goodwill gesture on Wagha border, a Rangers spokesman said of on Thursday.

He said these prisoners had crossed into Indian side mistakenly in 2013 and Indian authorities had put them in different jails of the country. Out of 20 prisoners three were civilians and 17 fishermen. All released prisoners complained that they were treated inhumanly and tortured badly. They demanded Pakistan government to take necessary steps to bring back rest of the Pakistanis who were in Indian jails.
