LAHORE - The Metrological Department has forecast sultry weather for Tuesday (today) and scattered showers for Wednesday (tomorrow).

Weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country on Monday. However, rain lashed some areas in Peshawar and Kalat divisions. Dalbandi remained hottest place, where the temperature reached 46 degree Celsius.

Maximum and minimum temperature in Lahore was recorded 36 C and 25 C respectively. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded 47 per cent. According to the experts, seasonal low lies over Northwest Balochistan and adjoining areas with its trough extending south-eastwards. Weak monsoonal currents are reaching central and upper parts of the country. Rain-thundershower is expected at scattered places of Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Hazara, Peshawar divisions and Kashmir on Wednesday (tomorrow).
