A high-level meeting to discuss security arrangements in wake of recent spate of terrorist attacks in the country held at Prime Minister House here Friday, report said. Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Prime Minister Pakistan Occupied Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider, key cabinet ministers, Chief Ministers of Sindh, Balochistan and NWFP, Inspector Generals Police of all the four provinces, top military, intelligence and law enforcement agencies officials attended the meeting chaired by PM Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani. However, CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif restrained himself from attending the meeting as the provincial government was represented by senior provincial minister Raja Riaz, report added. The meeting was briefed on the recent terrorist attacks in capital and NWFP and the security arrangements taken throughout the country in the wake of ongoing military operation against militants in South Waziristan.
