ISLAMABAD (Online) PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has accepted the invitation extended by President Asif Ali Zardari to him to participate in a dinner on Monday. Both the leaders would meet at the dinner, which is being hosted in honour of Nawaz Sharif at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the sources said. The meeting is going to take place at that time when Nawazs party PML-N has decided to oppose Kerry-Lugar bill and National Reconciliation Ordinance. The meeting is being arranged so that the national agenda in the light of Charter of Democracy, which was signed by slain former premier Benazir Bhutto and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif could be devised. Issue with regard to 17th amendment and balance of power between the President and Prime Minister would also be discussed. Nawaz Sharif has been mounting pressure on government to repeal 17th amendment. Ongoing operation Rah-e-Nijat against militants in South Waziristan and political reconciliation would be epicenter of the meeting. According to media reports, Turkish Prime Minister who has to visit Pakistan would also participate in the dinner. PML-N Senator Pervez Rashid has also confirmed meeting between the President and Nawaz Sharif on Monday. Sources said that envoys of various countries will be present, as invitations have been given to them by the Presidency.
