LAHORE - Holding demonstration against the over billing of the electricity bills, the PTI leaders have demanded of the government to immediately withdraw the same.

PTI leaders Dr Yasmeen Rashid, Zaheer Abbas Khokhar, Dr Noushen Hamid Miraj, Sadia Sohail, Tariq Sana Bajwa, Bushra Khalid Hayat Bhatti and Sheneela Rott along with a dozen party workers held a protest against the over billing in the electricity bills in front of Lahore Press Club on Wednesday.  \The protesters were holding placards inscribed with slogans against the over billing, increasing rates of the electricity and ‘Go Nawaz Go’.

They claimed that “Go Nawaz Go” drive under the banner of Azadi sit-in has spread across the country and the elite of the ruling party has to listen to this slogan everywhere they go because of their inefficient and corrupt rule.  The PTI leaders claimed that government had deprived the people of Rs 70 billion through electricity over billing and the amount should be immediately return back to the affectees.  They claimed that PTI would repeat the history of Lahore in upcoming Gujrat’s public meeting and people of Gujrat would vote in favour of ‘Naya Pakistan’.

The added that parliament that came in power with fake mandate would not be able to save the ruling party.
