MINGORA - A suicide bomber blew himself up in a house surrounded by security forces at Pathanay area of Mingora following an operation started late Wednesday night followed by imposition of curfew in Mingora and Saidu Sharif areas on Thursday. Security forces killed two of his accomplices, and apprehended two others while one security personnel embraced martyrdom after an exchange of fire in the operation, security official. Brigadier Sajad Ahmad told the media soon after the operation that security officials a couple of days back had obtained information from intelligence about the entry of a group of extremists, including a suicide bomber in Mingora city. This led to start of search operation to nab the suicide bomber and his aides. Wednesday night the security personnel, during their routine patrolling in the city, were fired upon from a house situated in Haji Baba area.
