OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - Relations between the Bar and Bench have been improved more than the past and judicial officers should keep merit in mind and grant relief to litigants remaining within parameters of law. These views were expressed by Lahore High Court Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry while addressing the inaugural ceremony of elevator at Sessions Court Lahore. The chief justice lauded the services of current body of Lahore Bar Association. Credibility is more important than other things and therefore bars and judicial officers should make efforts to establish the credibility regarding supremacy of law and there should not be difference between saying and action, the LHC CJ added. He said all members of judicial policy should make efforts for merit and earliest justice to litigants. He said litigants would not believe on the judicial system if pendency of cases fall in list of 10 to 15 years as progress of cases at lowers courts should also be checked to make the judicial policy beneficial for judicial system and litigants.
