ISLAMABAD - Helped by a brace each by Sarfraz and Ghulam Rasool, Army thrashed Railways 6-0 in the 11th Pakistan Premier Football League 2014 match here at Jinnah Stadium on Monday. Army were off to flying start as Najeeb scored a solo goal in the third minute of the first half. Army scores the second goal through Sarfraz in the 24th minute. Ansar then scored his first and his team’s third goal in the 30th minute, as the first half ended with Army leading 3-0. Ghulam then scored his first and team’s fourth goal in the 51st minute. Sarfraz then scored his second and team’s fifth goal in the 79th minute, before Ghulam Rasool completed the score line in the 87th minute to score his second and team’s sixth goal. Wapda will take on PAF in the fifth match today (Tuesday) at Jinnah Stadium.–Staff Reporter
