LAHORE - The City received light rain on Sunday, making weather pleasant by decreasing mercury level in the evening. The experts have predicted partly cloudy weather with chances of more rains during the next 24 hours. The slippery conditions of roads caused frequent traffic jams on a number of important City roads after iftar. Several incidents of skidding of motorcycles were also reported from various parts of the City. On Sunday, maximum and minimum temperature in the City was recorded 35 degree Celsius and 26 C respectively. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded 71 per cent which decreased to 56 per cent in the evening. According to the experts, seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and its adjoining areas. Monsoon current is penetrating sub mountainous areas of Punjab up to 5000 feet. Local meteorological department has forecast mainly dry weather for the most parts of the country. However, rains are expected at scattered places of Lahore, Multan, Sargodha, DG Khan, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi divisions and Kashmir.
