The team of UN commission looking into the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto on Monday visited Benazir Shaheed Hospital where the slain chairperson of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) took her last breath, a Private TV reported. The UN team inquired the concerned hospital personnel and paramedics involved in the treatment of former premier and acquired details about her medication, check up and the wounds she received in the attack on December 27, 2007. The seven-member team arrived in Islamabad last week is holding meetings and collecting documents in order to determine the facts and circumstances of Ms. Bhuttos assassination, it was reported. The Commission, which began its work on 1 July, will submit a report to the secretary-general within six months. Ban will then share the report with the Government of Pakistan and submit it to the Security Council for information.
