OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - A judicial magistrate on Tuesday extended three-day physical remand of a woman who had allegedly clubbed her servant to death for not feeding her dog. Earlier, the court had extended seven-day physical remand of the accused and on Tuesday the court once again extended three-day physical remand of accused Sadia when investigation officer produced her before court and took plea that police had yet to complete investigation against her. According to detail, a resident of Valencia Housing Society Sadia Asif had allegedly clubbed his 12-year old servant Taqi to death few days back when deceased had forgotten to feed the dog of Sadia on which she allegedly came into fury and beaten her servant with club as a result of which he succumbed to his injuries in hospital. Adjourned: A court on Tuesday adjourned by September 6 hearing of a contempt of court petition against govt for transferring Kot Lakhpat Fruit and Vegetable Market to Kahna area despite stay orders in this regard. As per detail, traders of Kot Lakhpat Fruit and Vegetable Market had filed a petition that govt had flouted court orders by transferring the above said market to other area. The traders took plea that they had been met with financial losses and mental torture with the transfer of the Market. The counsel of traders requested the court to take action against the govt.
