LAHORE - Jamaat-ud-Dawa central leader Hafiz Abul Rehman Makki has said that NATO and America are withdrawing their forces from Afghanistan after shameful defeat. He said that western powers were conspiring to destabilise our country. He was addressing a seminar titled 'Muslims of current era and Islam at Hameed Nizami Hall held under the aegis of The Nation, Nawa-i-Waqt and Waqt News on Tuesday. He said that creation of Pakistan was the greatest achievement of the Muslims of sub-continent, adding that the country was made in the name of Islam. Makki praised the role of Nazria Pakistan Trust, Nawa-i-Waqt Group and its Editor-in-Chief Majid Nizami who always remained busy in introducing the real essence and objective of the establishment of Pakistan to the young generations with devotion and patriotism. He said that America was wrongly considering land of Pakistan as its colony, and US should keep in mind that no one would allow her to enter Peshawar. He said that dictator Pervez Musharraf was the servant of America and did what the US ordered him in past. Mujahideen have forced NATO and Americans to leave this region. The Prime Minister and the President of Pakistan should keep in mind that withdrawal of such forces from lands of Muslims is not part of any strategy and all that has become possible owing to jihad, he added.
