QUETTA - Two settlers were shot dead in an incident of 'target killing in Panjgoor town of Balochistan on Tuesday morning. Police said that unknown armed assailants on motorcycles opened indiscriminate firing on the two persons near Grid Station area of Panjgoor, a bordering town with Iran. One person identified as Sarfaraz was killed on the spot while the other Munawar Hussain succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. 'It is an incident of target killing, said a police officer and said that both the victims were labourers and belonged to Punjab. Police has started investigation into the incident. Incidents of target killings in the province have increased manifold and more than 18 people have been killed in past one week in different towns of Balochistan including a renowned educationist, Professor Fazal Bari in provincial capital Quetta on Monday.
