QUETTA - Governor Baloc-histan Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi has said the Aghaz-i-Haqooq Balochistan Package was not the solution to the provinces problems. He stated this while talking to newsmen after an awards distribution ceremony here on Tuesday in connection with Pakistan Day. Magsi said that there was no law and order in the province and unless strict action was taken against people involved in deteriorating law and order, the situation could not be improved. Referring to Frontier Corps (FC), he said that if provincial government is not satisfied with the performance of FC than Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Aslam Khan Raisani could send troops back to barracks through an order. Responding to a question, he said that the provincial government should take action against those policemen who refuse to perform duties under pretext of law and order situation in province. Nawab Magsi said that he did not know about involvement of foreign hands in deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan and ,added, that without granting provincial autonomy problems of Balochistan could no be solved. 'Provincial autonomy is the only solution of problems of all provinces, he said. To a question, about performance of provincial government, he said 'no comments. Earlier, he conferred civilian awards on nine personalities on behalf of President Zardari for rendering services in different fields.
