ISLAMABAD - The Capital police booked a sitting SHO and ASI of Balochistan police for allegedly facilitating an accused, who had threatened a citizen to kill him. According to details, former SSP Saleem Ullah, resident of Islamabad, informed the Aabpara Police Station that Waseem Babar, who is in a lockup of Athal Police Station in Balochistan, had been threatening him on telephone to kill him. Former SSP also informed police that the accused could not use telephone in the lock-up and the SHO of Athal Police Station and other police officials were facilitating the accused for doing this. On this, Aabpara police lodged an FIR against Waseem Babar, SHO Abdul Jabar and ASI Muhammad Hashim and started investigations into the case.
