LAHORE - Tehrik-e-Istehkam-e-Pakistan on Tuesday organised Quaid-e-Azam award ceremony at the National Auditorium Lahore Museum wherein about fifty people from different walks of life were given awards. Zakiya Shahnawaz, adviser to CM Punjab, presided over the ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Zakiya congratulated the recipients and stated that Pakistan was created after many sacrifices and now it was the time to safeguard it. Chairman Tehrik-e-Istehkam-e-Pakistan said that the ceremony was being organised since the past ten years to encourage those people, who had done something extraordinary in their fields. He added that external forces were trying to destabilise Pakistan.
