LAHORE - The Lahore High Court on Thursday has taken took notice of an acid attack on a woman and her two sons ion Hazro Area, according to a press release.

The court took notice after the media flashed the onslaught. District and Sessions Judge, Attock has been directed to probe into the matter and submit a detailed report regarding steps taken by the local police along with his own comments.

According to details, a woman, resident of suburb area of Hazro, was present at her house with her two sons aged three and one. An unidentified accused entered the house, sprayed acid over them and escaped.

As a result, she and her sons received burns. The local police rushed to the scene and shifted the victims to the hospital.

The LHC Complaint Cell took serious notice of the news and directed the concerned D&SJ to look into the matter and submit report within a week positively.

Lahore High Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial has declared 24th of May (Friday), 2013 as public holiday for Lahore High Court, Bahawalpur Bench, Bahawalpur as well as Civil & Sessions Courts in Bahawalpur on account of Barsi of Late Ameer of Bahawalpur, Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi.
