Today (Friday) is the last day of trial matches. Farhan Mahboob will play the match against Nasir to decide who finished No 1 and 2 while Farhan Zaman is at No 3. The PSF will announce the final four-member squad today (Friday). Aamir Atlas Khan is all set to be left out from the playing side after his failure to turn up for the trial matches.

Talking to The Nation on Thursday, PSF secretary Abdul Wahab Marwat said: “We have abide by the set rules and regulations and we have changed trial matches dates just to accommodate Aamir, who requested so for having ample time to get recovered soon. But despite given proper time, Aamir failed to turn up for the trial matches and we are left with no other option but to leave out Aamir and pick the squad.”

“Though it will hurt the cause of the country, but we have almost same players after the trial matches with the only exception of unfit Aamir. I am sure the fourth place boy whoever gets selected will try to fill Aamir's shoes and perform for the country,” the PSF secretary concluded.
